Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted market research.
- Conduct product demonstrations and professional presentations to prospective clients to uncover needs and build lasting relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and lead qualification to closing and account onboarding.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Travel regionally to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales or business development (B2B experience strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a focus on persuasion.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive, commission-based environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings within the designated territories (San Jose and Illinois).
