Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers immediately upon arrival to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and high first impressions.
- Assist customers in locating products, explaining features, and making informed purchasing decisions to maximize sales targets.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, processing transactions, handling returns, and managing cash drawers.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management to stock shortages or overstock situations to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
- Upsell products and services to increase the Average Transaction Value (ATV) and meet daily/weekly sales goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer bases.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with computer systems and mobile devices.
