Job Summary
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business deals within the Chicagoland area. You will build long-term relationships with clients, identify their needs, and provide solutions that drive revenue growth for the company.
Responsibilities
- Prospect & Qualify: Identify and research potential clients within the Illinois territory to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Presentation: Conduct high-impact product demonstrations and sales presentations to prospective clients to showcase our premium offerings.
- Deal Closure: Negotiate terms and conditions, overcome objections, and close sales to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture existing client relationships to ensure retention and upsell opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Reporting: Accurately forecast sales activities and maintain detailed records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven outside sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Drive: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (quotas).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated individual with a "hunter" mentality and a passion for commission-based income.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
