Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering inquiries and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Sales Generation: Proactively approach customers to offer products and services, achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Conduct nightly stock counts, organize merchandise, and ensure sales floors are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, credit, and returns efficiently.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor for safety hazards and assist in maintaining a secure environment for customers and staff.
- Merchandising: Assist in the setup and breakdown of displays and promotional events.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day shift supervisors and team members to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or sales associate roles is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Integrity: High level of honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
- Math Skills: Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory counting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor freely.
