Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026+ planning cycles
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Present strategic narratives to investors and executive leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist research team
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms
- Integrate AI and exponential technologies into forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Experience with AI/ML trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
