Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, economics, and environmental sectors
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models
- Present executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurist researchers and industry experts
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
