Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework, synthesizing global trend data into actionable strategic imperatives
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors with data-backed confidence
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused research institutions
- Author quarterly 'Future State Briefs' that shape company-wide R&D priorities and investment decisions
- Mentor a team of Futurist Analysts while maintaining thought leadership through keynote speaking and published whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating complex trend analysis into multi-year strategic roadmaps that delivered measurable ROI
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and emerging technology assessment frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences and global forums
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) strongly preferred
