Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner upon entering the store.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing product recommendations, and answering inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Organize and maintain store shelves and displays to ensure a neat and appealing shopping environment.
- Upsell products and services to meet daily and monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with patience, empathy, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Restock inventory and assist with inventory counts and merchandising activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
