Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon entering the store, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register using POS systems.
- Assist with merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves, folding clothes, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
- Upsell products and cross-sell to maximize the average transaction value.
- Stay informed about current promotions, product features, and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory (we provide on-the-job training).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
