Apex Distribution Services is seeking a dedicated Outside Sales Representative to join our direct hire team in Columbus, OH. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building strong relationships with local clients and expanding our market presence.
As a night shift sales rep, you will work in a fast-paced environment, meeting with business owners and decision-makers to close deals and secure long-term contracts. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Visit current and prospective clients in the Columbus area during the night shift to deliver products and discuss service needs.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using CRM software and networking.
- Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retain clients and generate referrals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in outside sales or business-to-business sales.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a track record of achieving sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
