Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping 2026 market trends, technological disruptions, and consumer behavior shifts
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their business applications
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive-level presentations on future risk/opportunity landscapes and mitigation strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Design and facilitate workshops to embed future-thinking across organizational decision-making
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with actionable strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Planning, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trajectories (Web3, AGI, climate tech) and societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex future scenarios into stakeholder narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism/strategy journals (e.g., Futures, Strategy & Business)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
