Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (tech, climate, social) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Produce executive foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Curate external partnerships with academic labs and emerging startups
- Facilitate C-level workshops on risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Build quantitative models to forecast market shifts and adoption curves
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech or societal trends
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
