Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Design strategic scenarios and war-gaming simulations for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Quantify market potential and risk-mitigation strategies for emerging domains
- Advise R&D teams on ethical implications and long-term societal impact of innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of forecasting technological adoption with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to synthesize disparate signals into coherent narratives
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation strategies
