Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies and societal shifts with 3-5 year predictive modeling
- Develop innovation frameworks that align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive trends and their strategic implications
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports influencing company roadmap
- Champion ethical innovation and responsible deployment of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies
- Experience building and leading global innovation teams
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
