Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps by analyzing technological convergence, demographic shifts, and sustainability megatrends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-focused solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D centers
- Create scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Present future-strategy insights to executive leadership and board members
- Drive adoption of exponential thinking methodologies across all business units
- Monitor and report on emerging regulatory landscapes affecting future innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology convergence mapping
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global markets
