Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products/services with measurable ROI
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into core offerings
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder communications on future market disruptions and opportunities
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team with diverse expertise in emerging fields
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation and future readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or advanced R&D leadership within tech/consulting sectors
- Proven track record translating future trends into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation cycles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
