Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise resilience
- Partner with R&D to integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) into innovation pipelines
- Present future-oriented insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional working groups to prototype future-state business models and customer experiences
- Author annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for organizational adaptation
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive intelligence to maintain strategic foresight leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and societal transformation drivers
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable strategies
- Track record of influencing executive decision-making through data-driven future insights
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) strongly preferred
