Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption, balancing innovation with ethical and sustainable implementation
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial solutions
- Establish foresight methodologies and scenario-planning frameworks for long-term tech impact
- Represent Nexus at global tech summits, publishing thought leadership on future trends
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to bridge technological capabilities with market needs
- Advise on policy implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or emerging technology R&D
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., AI ethics, quantum adoption)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or similar preferred
