Responsibilities
- Prospect and Qualify: Identify and engage with potential clients through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach to generate high-quality leads.
- Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions to prospects and clients.
- Closing Deals: Navigate the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing, utilizing consultative selling techniques to overcome objections and close revenue.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (Salesforce), tracking all interactions, deals, and pipeline activities.
- Market Expansion: Develop a deep understanding of the local market in New York to identify trends, competitor activities, and new vertical opportunities.
- Client Retention: Foster strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure renewals and expand current business.
- Travel: Travel within the New York metropolitan area to meet with clients and attend industry networking events.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or account management.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Self-Motivation: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Digital Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce experience a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and thrive in a competitive, high-pressure environment.
