Your insights will directly shape our R&D priorities, investment thesis, and market expansion strategy for 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon 2026' strategic forecast identifying disruptive technologies, socio-economic shifts, and market inflection points
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges (e.g., quantum computing integration, AI ethics frameworks, sustainable supply chains)
- Establish quantitative models to simulate market scenarios and competitive landscapes for 2026-2030
- Curate and analyze signals from emerging research fields (neurotech, climate engineering, synthetic biology) to inform strategic roadmaps
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and external partners through immersive scenario-planning workshops
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers while maintaining partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and World Economic Forum
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of developing multi-year scenario-planning models that influenced billion-dollar decisions
- Expertise in technology convergence analysis (AI/quantum/IoT/biotech) and socio-economic forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology & Policy, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications (e.g., MIT Technology Review, HBR)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Experience leading global remote teams and presenting to C-level executives and boards
