Responsibilities
- Architect and roadmap multi-year innovation initiatives targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype technologies for next-gen industries
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neurotech) to identify commercial opportunities
- Design scalable frameworks for integrating futuristic solutions into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with leading research institutions
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ value)
