Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging global trends in technology, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market positioning
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications on future technologies and their societal implications
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots and long-term capital allocation decisions
- Monitor and evaluate competitor future-vision strategies to maintain first-mover advantage
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist role with Fortune 500/tech companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis methodologies including horizon scanning and Delphi techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures research preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-vision work or scenario planning projects
