Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts through quantitative modeling and qualitative trend analysis
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ market opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision implementation
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' with actionable predictions for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight knowledge base
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Experience with patent analysis and competitive intelligence frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
