Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, social, and economic disruptions
- Develop quantitative and qualitative forecasting models to assess market opportunities
- Design strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Produce thought leadership content including whitepapers and industry reports
- Monitor competitor strategies and emerging disruptors in key sectors
- Advise executive leadership on long-term capital allocation and R&D priorities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or Foresight Practitioners)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
