Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive foresight research and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and threats for 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic scenarios and roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align on future-oriented strategies
- Monitor global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate adaptation, geopolitical shifts) and their business implications
- Build and maintain an innovation ecosystem through partnerships with startups, academia, and research institutions
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development and investment priorities
- Present future outlook to board members, investors, and industry forums as a thought leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting with proven impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal/economic implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning methodologies, and trend forecasting
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating previous futurist projects or published thought leadership
