Responsibilities
- Promote and sell eco-friendly gardening products door-to-door in Oakland neighborhoods
- Build rapport with community members and demonstrate product benefits
- Track sales data and customer feedback using our mobile app
- Participate in weekend pop-up events at local farmers' markets
- Collaborate with a team of teen peers to achieve weekly sales goals
- Attend bi-weekly training sessions on sales techniques and product knowledge
- Represent the brand professionally while maintaining a friendly approach
Qualifications
- Must be 16-18 years old and legally eligible to work in California
- Strong communication skills and comfort talking with diverse community members
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Eagerness to learn about sales, sustainability, and local business
- Must have reliable smartphone for data tracking and communication
- Availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and some weekday evenings
- Positive attitude and willingness to represent youth-led initiatives
- No prior sales experience required - full training provided
