Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact reports on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advise executive leadership on long-term risk/opportunity assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build the company's foresight capabilities
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or Business Strategy
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published work in futurist publications or industry white papers
- Experience scaling foresight programs within large organizations
