Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight framework for Horizon Innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Lead executive workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for board and investor audiences
- Identify and evaluate emerging partnership opportunities with startups and research institutions
- Drive innovation pipeline development for next-gen product concepts
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of predicting technology adoption curves (provide case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, space commercialization, or circular economy models
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in visualization tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Portfolio of 3+ strategic roadmaps implemented in complex organizations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) preferred
