What You'll Achieve: Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps, identify emerging market opportunities, and translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies. You'll directly influence our R&D pipeline and drive innovation in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Translate emerging tech trends into product development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and technology analysts
- Monitor global tech policy implications and regulatory shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar professional designation preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research in technology foresight or innovation strategy
