Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical industrial applications
- Design and execute large-scale quantum experiments with superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford researchers on quantum error correction protocols
- Translate theoretical models into deployable quantum computing frameworks
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of 7 PhD researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Physics, or equivalent
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Published research in Nature Physics or Physical Review X journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Track record of securing NSF or DARPA quantum computing grants
- Expertise in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
