Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 15+ industries to map technological and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, neural interfaces)
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term strategic objectives
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through immersive storytelling and interactive visualizations
- Lead the creation of 'Future Playbooks' for 5 high-impact emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology trend forecasting
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and weak signal analysis
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with AI/ML trend acceleration modeling
