- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps for disruptive innovation initiatives targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead R&D teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable materials)
- Forge strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Drive commercialization of breakthrough technologies through agile development cycles
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams in design thinking and future-scanning methodologies
- Secure $15M+ annual innovation budget through compelling ROI projections
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, biotech, space tech, etc.)
- Executive experience scaling innovation teams to 100+ members
- Published thought leadership in future technology or business strategy
- Strong financial acumen in managing multi-million R&D budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder alignment
