Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology/societal trend analysis frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies for product development, market expansion, and operational transformation
- Lead executive workshops on future disruption risks and opportunities across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and climate tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
- Author quarterly foresight reports that drive R&D investment decisions and corporate pivot strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities through knowledge transfer programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate foresight, innovation consulting, or strategic planning at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience to C-suite audiences
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including horizon scanning and Delphi techniques
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation domains
