We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Animation & Motion Designer to join the Apex Digital Collective. As a key member of our creative team, you will collaborate directly with art directors and strategists to transform complex concepts into visually stunning 2D animations. You will be responsible for maintaining our studio's high standard of excellence while pushing the boundaries of traditional motion design.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute high-end 2D animations and motion graphics for digital campaigns, social media, and web experiences.
- Design and rig characters and assets using industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure visual consistency across all projects and brand guidelines.
- Produce storyboards, animatics, and style frames to pitch and visualize animation concepts.
- Optimize video files for various platforms and devices while maintaining high quality.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team's overall skill set.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or a related creative field.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Cinema 4D.
- Strong understanding of timing, spacing, easing, and physics in animation.
- Excellent portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion design styles and projects.
- Ability to take creative direction and translate abstract concepts into visual reality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.
