Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to determine their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions and handle returns.
- Stay informed about current sales promotions, product inventory, and company policies to answer customer questions.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and markdowns.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
