Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers immediately upon arrival to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing expert recommendations, and answering product-related questions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Merchandise displays to ensure they are organized, clean, and visually appealing to drive sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Handle customer service inquiries, returns, and exchanges with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team leads to maintain store standards and operational efficiency during peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a full-time schedule.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and a history of punctual attendance.
- Proficiency with technology and POS systems is a plus.
