Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing personalized service to meet their needs.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering detailed product inquiries.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Drive sales targets through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency during peak weekend hours.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer groups.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with computer systems and POS software is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers succeed.
