Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Assist customers in locating products and explaining features and benefits to drive sales.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale, including cash and credit card payments.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to ensure an optimal shopping experience.
- Upsell products and promote current promotions to maximize revenue.
- Handle returns and exchanges efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
