Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing immediate assistance and guidance.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance.
- Merchandise products according to visual standards to maintain an organized, appealing store environment.
- Proactively engage customers by asking open-ended questions to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience, empathy, and a focus on resolution.
- Clean and organize the sales floor, stockrooms, and fitting rooms to maintain a safe and professional workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
