Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly upon entering the store, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Product knowledge and recommendation: Assist customers in selecting the right products by educating them on features, benefits, and pricing.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, handle returns, and answer customer inquiries.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to ensure an optimal shopping experience.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs set by store management.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through follow-up communication and loyalty programs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using POS systems.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a desire to learn.
