Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, processing sales and returns accurately.
- Drive sales targets by actively identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily and weekly revenue goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and change.
- Proficiency with technology and POS systems is a plus.
