Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Merchandise the sales floor by maintaining displays, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are stocked and priced correctly.
- Engage customers through proactive sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling products.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
