Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on qubit stabilization techniques
- Document quantum system specifications and implementation blueprints
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, toric, color codes)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and workarounds
