- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (e.g., metaverse ecosystems, autonomous systems)
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech verticals
- Develop thought leadership content positioning company as 2026 innovation leader
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for speculative technology exploration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Published futurist or technology forecaster with proven track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (Web3, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite boards
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio of implemented futuristic technology initiatives
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
