As a key member of our sales division, you will leverage your local market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, prospect, and approach potential clients in the Washington D.C. area to introduce our products/services.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client pain points and propose tailored solutions that drive value.
- Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to secure meetings and close deals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through consistent follow-ups and exceptional service.
- Market Research: Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and positioning.
- CRM Maintenance: Accurately log interactions, track progress, and update customer relationship management systems.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, field sales, or B2B sales (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and local business landscape.
- Self-Motivation: Highly driven individual who is self-starting, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to meet client needs and attend networking events.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
