As a Night Shift Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand during our busy evening hours. Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Provide a welcoming and professional experience to all customers entering the store during the night shift.
- Process Transactions: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and gift cards with precision.
- Merchandising: Maintain visual standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is pristine.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, receive deliveries, and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
- Store Security: Monitor the premises, secure the building, and report any irregularities or maintenance issues.
- Cash Handling: Manage the cash drawer, prepare daily deposits, and balance transactions at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience is preferred; training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 4 days a week).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Math Skills: Strong basic math skills required for accurate cash handling and inventory counting.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
