Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products, answering inquiries, and providing professional recommendations.
- Sales Execution: Drive sales targets by promoting new arrivals, promotions, and loyalty programs to maximize revenue.
- Merchandising: Maintain visual displays, stock shelves accurately, and ensure the sales floor is organized and presentable at all times.
- Store Operations: Process transactions efficiently at the register, handle cash and card payments, and manage returns or exchanges.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the store during quiet hours to ensure security protocols are followed and the premises are safe.
- Inventory Management: Conduct nightly inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers with a positive attitude.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of punctuality and attendance.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor.
- Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
