Responsibilities
- Engage customers warmly and professionally to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue.
- Execute sales strategies and promote products/services to meet or exceed daily/weekly targets.
- Manage the sales floor, ensuring the store is organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS), handling cash and credit with precision.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and security checks.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Must be available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS systems quickly.
