Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service during evening and overnight hours, focusing on building rapport and driving sales conversion
- Execute product demonstrations and promotions to maximize revenue during off-peak shopping periods
- Manage inventory operations, including restocking, cycle counts, and loss prevention protocols
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling standards
- Collaborate with overnight teams to ensure seamless store operations and merchandising standards
- Identify and report maintenance issues to preserve store appearance during closed hours
- Participate in quarterly after-hours sales training and product knowledge workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or sales experience with proven track record in customer-driven environments
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong verbal communication skills with ability to articulate product value propositions clearly
- Proficiency with retail POS systems and basic inventory management software
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high energy and sales focus during overnight hours
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (for occasional vendor runs)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory reconciliation
- Must pass background check and drug screening per company policy
