Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Proactively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the Columbus, TX area and surrounding regions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular visits and professional networking.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and tailor logistics solutions accordingly.
- Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Market Intelligence: Gather market data and competitor information to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress within the CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in outside sales or account management.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Tools: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Drive: A self-starter mentality with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and earn a high income.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Columbus, Texas area.
